The "Mandarin Panda" Talent Competition-2015
  

The “Mandarin Panda” Talent Competition is a children and youth participating, multi-culture and culture/arts event. It is a biennial competition organized by the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Toronto Centre to arouse the enthusiasm of the GTA youth students in learning heritage language (Chinese) and to strengthen the local communities' understanding of Chinese language and culture. The competition will become an important platform for youth students to show their Chinese language proficiency, literacy skills as well as their talents in multi-cultures and arts. 

The 2015 1st "Mandarin Panda" Competition consists of 3 sub-competitions: (1) “Chinese Composition Competition”, (2) “Chinese Songs Singing Competition” and (3) “Chinese Speech Competition”. This Competition is expected to attract about 300-500 participants and direct exposure to over 3,000 - 5,000 potential message receivers through all promotional vehicles and channels, which will be a one-day event with various performances and activates, such as Chinese Folk Music performance, Chinese Food Festival and Lucky Draw, etc.
